KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Haggai Leboo scored a pair of goals Sunday as the Rockhurst men’s soccer team snapped Northern Kentucky University’s five-game winning streak with a 5-0 victory.

Leboo tallied his first goal nine minutes into the contest on a header off an assist from Michael Ragsdale. The Hawks held a 1-0 lead at halftime and increased the advantage to 2-0 at the 52:31 mark when Leboo drilled a shot into the back of the net.

Rockhurst sealed the win by scoring two goals in 45 seconds. Spencer Martens scored at the 68:24 mark, and Darren Rahe struck at 69:09 to give the Hawks a 4-0 lead.

Brian Harrod tallied the final goal in the 88th minute as Rockhurst improved to 5-2 overall, 3-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

NKU, ranked 12th nationally in the NCAA Division II poll, dropped to 5-2 overall, 3-1 GLVC. The Norse were limited to just two shots the entire game, and Rockhurst finished with a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.

David Botos and Nathan Moses each were credited with shot attempts for NKU, which owned four consecutive shutouts going into Sunday. The Norse had won five straight after suffering a season-opening 3-2 loss in overtime to Lincoln Memorial on Aug. 27.

NKU will play host to Lewis at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Town & Country Sports Complex in Wilder, Ky.
