NKU, UM-ST. LOUIS PLAY TO SCORELESS TIE - Oct. 7, 2005
Norse now 8-4-1 overall, 5-2-1 in the GLVC

ST. LOUIS - The Northern Kentucky University men’s soccer team played Missouri-St. Louis to a scoreless tie in two overtimes Friday night at the Don Dallas Memorial Field.

NKU is now 8-4-1overall, 5-2-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Freshman goalie Anthony Sucietto notched the shutout for the Norse and had four saves.

Missouri-St. Louis is 3-4-3 overall, 3-4-2 in the GLVC. Zach Hoette recorded the shutout for the Rivermen and collected five saves.

A year ago, NKU posted a 3-1 win against Missouri-St. Louis at Wilder, Ky.

The Norse conclude their road trip Sunday at 3:30 p.m. with a GLVC contest at Missouri-Rolla. NKU will then return home next Friday to meet defending NCAA Division II national runner-up Southern Illinois at Edwardsville at 7:30 p.m. in Wilder, Ky.

SIUE is currently ranked No. 2 nationally in the NCAA Division II poll.
