Assistant Coach David Marshall - (859) 572-1929 or marshallda@nku.edu

David Marshall begins his eighth year as an assistant coach at NKU. Marshall directs NKU’s recruiting efforts and coordinates the recruitment of post players.

Marshall played two seasons for former NKU head coach Ken Shields from 1990-92 and posted the school’s fifth best all-time scoring average with 17.4 points per game. He was named second team All-GLVC both seasons and finished his career at NKU with 994 points.

In addition, Marshall shot 52.1 percent from the field in his two years with the Norse and poured in 39 points against Indianapolis as a senior. That 39-point performance tied the NKU single-game record at the time, but it was shattered later that season when Greg Phelia scored 43 points against Kentucky Wesleyan. Phelia’s record stood until Mike Kelsey scored 50 points against Indianapolis in 2004.

Marshall and his wife, Tara, have a daughter, Jalynn, and a son, Wesley. They reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.
