SOMERS, Wis.
- Northern Kentucky University placed four players in double figures
Saturday and used an 18-0 run in the second half to rally for a
75-57 win at Wisconsin-Parkside in the DeSimone Gymnasium.

scored nine of his 14 points in the second half to spark No. 11
NKU (16-4, 9-2 Great Lakes Valley Conference), which won its seventh
consecutive game. Dustin Maguire also netted nine of his 17 points
in the second half as the Norse rallied from a four-point deficit
with 15:30 left in the game.

Fenderson’s basket gave Wisconsin-Parkside a 44-40 lead, Bibbins
started the NKU comeback by burying a 3-pointer. Craig Cunningham
converted a layup to give the Rangers a 46-43 advantage, but NKU
responded with an 18-0 run during the next four minutes to take
a 61-46 lead.
A’Daeron
Duncan keyed the run with a basket and two free throws to give the
Norse a 47-46 lead. DeAaron Williams continued the spurt with a
basket and 3-pointer to extend the advantage to 52-46. After Duncan
made two more free throws, Leslie Malone followed with a jumper
and a breakaway dunk off a steal to make it 58-46.
Maguire capped
the 18-0 run by knocking down a 3-pointer for a 61-46 advantage.
Malone finished
with 12 points and four blocked shots, while Williams added 10 points
and six rebounds. The Norse shot 70.8 percent from the field in
the second half and 53.6 percent for the game.
Fenderson, the
nation's leader scoring at 24.9 points per game, netted 20 on Saturday.
He managed just 7-for-17 shooting from the field and committed five
turnovers.
NKU returns
home to meet Saint Joseph’s at 7:45 p.m. Thursday in The Bank
of Kentucky Center. The Norse took over sole possession of first
place Saturday when Bellarmine lost at Lewis.
