AT NKU: Hawkins enters his third season with the Norse…outstanding shooter from long range...versatile guard with great quickness…has a tremendous first step…good offensive performer with excellent scoring ability...will be a key performer again this season. 2005-06: Played in all 28 games and started 12 times...averaged 5.7 points per game...scored in double figures seven times...emerged as a clutch 3-point shooter and finished 38-for-94 from long range...also shot 78.3 percent from the free-throw line. 2004-05: Saw action in 18 games...averaged 2.4 points and 0.6 rebounds...also dished out six assists...shot 51.7 percent from the field. HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Finneytown High School…started all four years…scored a school-record 1,435 career points for the Wildcats…averaged 20.2 ppg and 7.0 rpg as a senior…was named first team All-Cincinnati Hills League three times…honorable mention all-state as a senior…coached by Dan Adams.
