AT NKU: Finnell begins his third year at NKU…sat out as a redshirt two years ago...outstanding point guard who can score off the dribble, distribute the ball and shoot from the perimeter...was selected as GLVC Freshman of the Year last season. 2005-06: Played in 28 games...averaged 8.6 points and a team-leading 4.39 assists per game...emerged as a go-to player and hit many clutch shots at crucial times...named the most outstanding player of the John L. Griffin/Lions Club Classic. HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Purcell Marian High School…averaged 16 points and five assists as a senior… named the Greater Catholic League Player of the Year as a senior…coached by Randy Reeder. PERSONAL: Born on July 7, 1986…son of Bill and Dolly Finnell...his sister, Keri, plays for the NKU women’s basketball team. |
