NKU: Cripe
begins his first year with the Norse...a transfer from the University
of Dayton...will be the first 7-footer to ever play at NKU...expected
to start at center and provide the Norse with inside scoring,
rebounding and defense...received his degree in Communications
management at Dayton last spring...will pursue a master’s
degree in communications at NKU.

DAYTON: Played three seasons for the Flyers...averaged
2.6 points and 2.2 rebounds last season in 24 games... scored
a career-high 14 points last November as Dayton knocked off Cincinnati
at Fifth Third Arena...named the 2005 winner of the John L. Macbeth
Memorial Scholar-Athlete Award, which goes to the upperclassman
on the team with the best cumulative GPA at Dayton...played in
all 32 games in 2003-04, averaging 8.2 minutes a game...averaged
1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds...scored nine points and grabbed three
rebounds in a victory over Xavier...had five points and four rebounds
in 20 minutes at Cincinnati...also had eight points and seven
rebounds against Wofford.
HIGH
SCHOOL: Played at Loveland High School...averaged 14
points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game while earning All-Fort
Ancient Valley Conference as a prep senior...was a teammate of
current NKU standout Kevin Schappell while at Loveland...coached
by Mike Ferone.
