NKU BASKETBALL PLAYERS HONORED BY GLVC
Myers, Kelsey and Graham earn accolades from GLVC

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Three Northern Kentucky University basketball players have been honored by the Great Lakes Valley Conference with postseason awards.

NKU women’s basketball player Connie Myers has earned first team All-GLVC honors, while teammate Karmen Graham received honorable mention accolades. Norse men’s basketball player Mike Kelsey also received honorable mention All-GLVC recognition.

Myers, a senior forward from Columbia City, Ind., averaged 16.5 points per game and leads the GLVC in rebounding at 8.6 rpg. Myers helped NKU post a 16-12 record this season.

Graham, a sophomore post player from Kettering, Ohio, averaged 11.2 ppg this season. She also grabbed an average of 5.7 rebounds per game and made 80 percent of her free throws.

Kelsey, a senior guard from Cincinnati, Ohio, led the NKU men in scoring at 16.0 ppg. He tied a GLVC Tournament record by pouring in 35 points during a victory over Southern Illinois at Edwardsville during the semifinals of that event and made a team-leading 79 three-point shots this season.

Kelsey finished his career with 1,595 points, which ranks seventh all-time in Norse history. Kelsey also set an NKU single-game scoring record as a junior with a 50-point performance against Indianapolis.
