AT NKU: Stowers begins his fourth year at NKU…excellent
all-around guard who enters the season in the best shape
of his college career…could challenge for a starting
spot in the backcourt.
2003-04: Appeared in 23 games and started three times…shot
.529 from the floor and connected on five of eight (.625)
from long-range…averaged 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds
per contest…added 24 assists and five steals.
2002-03: Made appearances in all 31 games and started 23
times…averaged 1.8 assists and 1.5 rebounds per game…finished
second with 60 assists and added 12 steals.
2001-02: Appeared in all 27 games as a freshman and started
three times…shot a team-high .654 from the field and
was 4-of-11 from beyond the arc…scored 1.7 points per
game and averaged 1.6 rebounds…also added 33 assists
and 14 steals.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2001 graduate of Simon Kenton High School…averaged
14.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.7 assists as a senior…coached
by Scott Humphrey.
PERSONAL: Born on April 26, 1983…son of Jeff and Mary
Stowers…his father, Jeff Stowers, scored 1,410 career
points while playing at NKU.
