AT NKU: Kelsey begins his fifth season
at NKU…excellent
guard with outstanding all-around skills…sat out as
a redshirt four years ago…earned second team All-GLVC
accolades last year and should challenge for honors again
this season.
2003-04: Appeared in 28 games and started 27…led the
team in scoring with 16.9 points per game…added 3.1
rebounds per game…tallied 88 assists and 28 steals…set
NKU single-game scoring record with 50 points against Indianapolis.
2002-03: Only player to start all 31 games…connected
on 81 treys and shot a team-high .853 from the line…averaged
14.5 points and 2.5 rebounds…tallied 59 assists and
20 steals.
2001-02: Appeared in all 27 games and started 17 times…shot
.398 from the field and .347 from long-range…averaged
7.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest…recorded 46
assists and 18 steals…also blocked a shot.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2000 graduate of Elder High School…averaged
15.9 points during the regular season as a senior…made
38 three-point shots as a senior…named first team All-Greater
Catholic League…named honorable mention Southwest Ohio
All-District as a junior and senior…coached by Joe
Schoenfeld.
