AT NKU: Begins his first full season with the team after sitting out last season as a redshirt…talented, hard-working left-handed pitcher that has put in the extra effort in hopes of cracking into the rotation…two-sport athlete at NKU in 2007-08, also playing basketball...son of NKU men's basketball assistant coach Pat Ryan.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Covington Holy Cross in 2007…competed with the varsity team for numerous years…helped lead the Indians to back-to-back 21 wins season during his final two seasons…had a 7-2 record in the regular season as a junior with 1.82 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 50 innings of work…also a member of the Indians' basketball team…coaches in baseball by Mike Holtz.
