HIGH SCHOOL: Played all four years for his father, Shannon McCormick, Sr., at Muncie Burris High School…smacked 12 career homeruns…set a school record and led the state of Indiana with a blistering .604 batting average as a senior…also holds Burris career records in runs (106) and batting average (.502)…named All-Area, first team All-Mid-Eastern Conference, and team MVP all four years…also a standout on the hardwood as he scored 1,500 career points and holds a single game record of 46 points.
