---Eric Fuldner's four-under-par was good enough to win the Wasioto Winds Fall Kick-off.

PINEVILLE, Ky. – Eric Fuldner lead the Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Wasioto Winds Fall Kick-off tournament, hosted by Morehead State University at Wasioto Winds Golf Course.

Southern Illinois won the event going away with a six-over-par (288-292-290—870). Host Morehead State finished second, while Tennessee-Martin took third place in the team event.

Fuldner shot a final-round 69 to finish four-under-par (71-72-69—212) in the two-day event to take the medal. Danny Lewis (77-71-73—221) shared fourth place, while Clint Kohls (76-78-72—226) shot 10-over-par to share 26th. Jeremy Martin (75-76-83—234) added his first two rounds to the team score while finishing 43rd, and Matt Poat (79-80-79—238) included his third round in the team’s total.

Will Brown, competing as an individual, was the only other player to shoot under par (72-71-71—214), finishing second.

Janson Cahill (78-74-78—230), Cody Moore (84-75-74—233) and Josh Reece (84-72-78—234) also competed as individuals for Northern Kentucky.

The Norse move on to the NKU Fall Invitational, Sept. 14-15 at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky.
