By Mike Anderson, NKU Sports Information GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team previewed the course for their Spring Regional Invitational on Saturday, defeating Bellarmine by five strokes in a dual meet at Cherry Blossom Golf Course. Clint Kohls won the individual event with a 3-under-par 69. Carl Hays and Danny Lewis followed directly, each shooting a 2-under-par 70. Tyler Adkins rounded out the team scoring with a 74 to finish 1-over-par. Eric Fuldner (75), Jim Akerstrom (78), and Wil Brown (81) each added individual scores for the Norse. As a team, the Norse shot a 5-under-par 283 against Bellarmine’s even-par 288. Northern Kentucky hits the road Sunday for a Regional Invitational at St. Louis, Mo. |
