By Mike Anderson, NKU Sports Information SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. - The Northern Kentucky University men's golf team finished in 13th place iat the Great Lakes Fall Regional Tournament at Hawkshead Golf Course. The Norse shot a combined 603 (308-295) for a 27-over-par team score. Ashland shot a 2-over-par 574 (295-279) to win the event, with the Eagles' John Furlong taking the medal with a 6-under-par (73-65 138) performance. Carl Hays shot 6-over-par (79-71 150) to share 38th place and lead NKU. Andrew Jewell (75-77 152) and Tyler Adkins (78-74 152) each shot 8-over-par and placed 55th. Danny Lewis shared 64th at 9-over-par (80-73 153), lending his second-round score to the team total, while Eric Fuldner added his first round 76 to the team result while finishing 82nd overall with an 11-over-par (76-79-155). |
