---NKU's Andrew Jewell shot a 3-under-par 141 to share second as the Norse took second place at the UIndy Invitational.

CAMBY, Ind. – Andrew Jewell’s 3-under-par performance led the Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team to a second-place finish at the University of Indianapolis Invitational at Heartland Crossing Golf Course.

The host Greyhounds won the event, shooting even-par (284-292—576) as a team to surpass the Norse by five strokes (297-284—581).

Individually, Jewell (71-70—141) shared second place with Indianapolis’ Bryan Brackemyre (73-68—141). Seth Fair (65-74—139) of Indianapolis shot a 5-under-par to take the medal.

NKU’s Danny Lewis (67-76—143) was the last of four men to shoot under par over two rounds. Carl Hays (71-74—145) took a share of seventh place with a 1-over-par tournament. Eric Fuldner (76-70—146) finished tied for 11th at 2-over par. Tim Akerstrom (71-82—153) shared 33rd at 9-over-par.

Clint Kohls (79-76—155) shot 11-over-par to end in 43rd, while Cody Moore (78-85—163) and Will Brown (84-79—163) tied for 60th.
