ALLENDALE, Mich. -
The Northern Kentucky University women’s golf team posted
an eighth-place finish at the Laker Fall Classic on Tuesday with
a two-day total of 677 at the Meadows Golf Course.
NKU sophomore Alicia
Lawrence tied for ninth place in the individual competition with
a two-day total of 159. Lawrence shot a 9-over-par 81 during Tuesday’s
final round.
NKU junior Bianca Hutton
finished 17th with a score of 164 after shooting a 79 on Tuesday.
Grand Valley State captured
the team title with a score of 628, four strokes better than runner-up
Drury (632). Alisha Luigs of Southern Indiana took the medal by
firing a 74 Tuesday and totaling 149 for the event.
