HAMILTON, Ohio - Clint
Kohls fired a 3-under-par 69 Thursday as Northern Kentucky University
captured the Crosstown Fall Finale at the Hamilton Elks Golf Course.
Kohls tied Geoff Newman
from the University of Cincinnati for medalist honors in the men’s
competition. NKU totaled 286 to take first place, followed by UC
(299) and Dayton (313).
UC captured the women’s
team competition with a score of 314. Hillery Wilson of UC shot
74 to win the medal. NKU finished second at 341, and Dayton was
third with 351.
Bianca Hutton led NKU
with a 78.
In the combined men’s/women’s
team format, NKU won the event with a total of 299. UC placed second
at 301, while Dayton was third at 322. The two best individual scores
from each of the men’s and women’s teams was used to
determine the Crosstown Fall Finale winner.
