EDINBURGH,
Ind. - The Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team tied
for sixth place at the Great Lakes Spring Regional on Saturday with
a two-day score of 581.
Mark Krahe led NKU with
a score of 139, which was good for a third-place finish at the par-72
Timbergate Golf Club. The Norse’s David Shearer shot rounds
of 73-72 for a total of 145 (15th place), while teammate Andrew
Jewell was 24th with a score of 146.
Indianapolis won the
team title with a score of 575, one stroke better than runner-up
Grand Valley State.
