COLUMBUS, Ind. - David Shearer fired a 140 during the opening 36 holes of the Great Lakes

Shearer shot a 4-under-par 68 during the first 18 holes Monday, and he followed that with a 72 to take a three-shot lead over Wisconsin-Parkside’s Corey Sell (143) going into the final round at Otter Creek Golf Course. Shearer finished with 11 birdies Monday.

NKU totaled 580 (+4) as a team by placing four golfers in the top 20. Mark Krahe shot 145
