Mike Delaney (Department of Communication) was presented with a “Faculty of Distinction” award by Student Support Services in 2004.
Wanda Crawford (Learning Assistance) was appointed Coordinator of LAP Developmental Literacy Courses in July 2006; she also received an SSS “Faculty of Distinction” award in the spring of 2006.

Jill Niemeyer recently received a promotion from Freshman Retention Specialist/Lecturer to Director of Student Teaching and KTIP in the College of Education and Human Services. She was also successful in writing a grant with colleague, Vicky VanWinkle, on “Sophomore Connections.”
Jan Anderson (Developmental Math) was promoted to Lecturer II in July 2006.
Dixie Leather (College of Business Advising Center) received the Outstanding Advisor Award in a Primary Role in 2005.
Michelle Heatherton was appointed Interim Assistant Dean of the College of Informatics in July 2006.
Sallie Parker Lotz was awarded a Strategic Enrollment Management Grant last spring to develop a Student Success Seminar that was first taught in August 2006 to the incoming students in the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
Larry Smith (Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Philosophy) is seeking publication for his manuscript entitled, “Patterns of Religious Expression: An Introduction to the Study of Religion.”
