Pre-Professional Programs

Four departments in the College of Arts & Sciences offer pre-professional coursework for students pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, law, engineering,  forestry or wildlife management.

Acquiring a bachelor's degree is the first step for many NKU students who want to gain admission to medical, law or engineering schools. Other students begin their coursework at NKU and transfer to colleges where they complete professional degrees.
