The Northern Kentucky University Museum of Anthropology exists to curate and exhibit cultural materials from throughout the world in order to enrich NKU and surrounding communities, including students, faculty, and the general public, through teaching, research, and public outreach.  The museum seeks to be a renowned and successful university museum locally, regionally, and nationally.

        Goals

Provide accessible, modern curated and exhibited cultural materials and space for teaching, research, and public programs.

Maintain a viable financial plan that includes multiple sources of funding, including NKU, external granting agencies, and private  donations and that supports an active museum staff.

Provide academic programs that encourage success in student research and opportunities for introductory work experience in curation, exhibit design, and management.

Offer public programs, including a volunteer program and permanent and temporary exhibits, that engage and interest the general public.
