Archaeology Minor
These requirements apply to students enrolling at NKU in the Fall 1997 or after.
The minor in Archaeology consists of at least 21 semester hours and requires the completion of the following:
- Three core courses (9 semester hours):

- One of the following methods courses (3 or 4 semester hours):

- Three of the following (9 to 11 semester hours):

____ ANT 308 Cultural Resource Management
____ ANT 318 Prehistoric Ecology
____ ANT 335 Advanced Archaeological Field Methods
____ ANT 336 Historical Archaeology
____ ANT 350 North American Archaeology
____ ANT 352 Archaeology of Mesoamerica
____ ANT 355 Archaeological Laboratory Analysis (if not used as methods course)
____ ANT 380 Origins of Civilization
____ ANT 392 Research Topics in Archaeology (up to 3 credit hours)
____ ANT 410 Archaeological Theory
Note: The minor in Archaeology is not open to students majoring in Anthropology since an archaeology focus is already available within the anthropology major.
