The purpose of this course is to introduce educators to the
utilization of computers in the instructional process and
focus on technological solutions necessary for a
professional career as a teacher and/or nurse educator.
Particular emphasis is placed upon the uses and effects of
technology on the classroom and curriculum, evaluation of
technology resources, telecommunications, multimedia and
application software.

This course
fulfills an elective option in the Masters in Education,
Fifth-Year or Rank I programs. It is also the first
required course in the Instructional Computer Technology (ICT)
