Hot wings. Fraternity parties. Jazz clubs.
It seems like there's always something going on. Don't get me wrong my grades are really important, but I'm really enjoying being independent and living on my own. I may meet friends outside to study or just too simply enjoy the weather. There are fraternity and sorority events, and if you're in any of our organizations, you always have something to do.
Then there's Thursday nights, when it seems like everyone hangs out at the local hot wing restaurant. The wings are 40 cents on Thursdays. Everybody comes out for that.
But there are even more things to do in the surrounding area. We go to the mall, which isn't far away, or we go to Newport on the Levee, which has shops and restaurants and a movie theater. A lot of us like to go to Cincinnati too, where you can listen to some jazz in a club or watch a poetry reading in a coffeehouse.
Here at NKU, there are plenty of opportunities to have fun while getting a quality education.
