Freshman Deadlines

Mark your calendar with these important admission deadlines:

Spring 2012 Deadlines (semester begins January 9, 2012)

• Admissions Priority Deadline:  November 1, 2011
• Final Admissions Deadline:  December 1, 2011

Fall 2012 Important Deadlines (semester begins August 20, 2011)

• Scholarship Deadline:  January 15, 2012
  Incoming freshman interested in competing for NKU scholarships, must be admitted to the university and submit a scholarship application and all required credentials by this early action deadline.  (Unlike Early Decision, this option is non-binding.  You may apply to other schools.)
   
• Financial Aid Priority Deadline:  February 1, 2012
  The FAFSA is available after January 1 every year.
   
• Assured Consideration Deadline:  February 15, 2012
  Applicants applying after this deadline run the risk of not being admitted if NKU reaches capacity for new freshmen. You could be placed on a waiting list, deferred to a subsequent semester or denied admission.
   
• Enrollment Confirmation Deadline:  May 1, 2012
  Admitted students must confirm their intent to enroll at NKU by submitting a $75 enrollment confirmation fee prior to May 1, or two weeks after their acceptance. Confirmed students will be invited to Northern Expo sure, our new student orientation program.
   
• University Housing Deadline:  May 1, 2012
   
• Final Admission Deadline:  July 1, 2012
