Master of Accountancy (MAcc)
A Program to Match Your Background
The Master of Accountancy program has two tracks to choose from that match your background.
Professional Track
Our Professional Track is for those who have an undergraduate accountancy degree and are seeking a public accounting career. This program helps you prepare for a career as a CPA and will allow you to meet the 150 credit hours required to take the CPA exam.
Professional Track/Taxation Specialization
Students in the Professional Track may obtain an Area of Concentration in Taxation by taking the nine elective hours in taxation:
- ACC 638 Advanced Individual Taxation
- ACC 634 Taxation of Partnerships and Pass Through Entities
- ACC 630 Corporate Taxation
Accounting Practice and Reporting Track
Our Accounting Practice and Reporting Track is for those who do not have an undergraduate accounting degree, but have an undergraduate degree in another field. This track is for those who are changing career paths and are now interested in pursuing an accounting degree.
