Mission Statement
 

The mission of the African American Student Affairs and Ethnic Service is to ensure the participation of students from different ethnic backgrounds in all facets of university life, to address the needs and concerns of under represented students and enhance their academic success and quality of life at Northern Kentucky University.

    • To stabilize or provide a supportive system which provides a foundation for academic success.

    • To assist in recognizing their career aspirations.
  • Personal/Family Involvement
    • To maintain parental, family/friend support and increase involvement in the student's personal/academic/social world.

    • To create an environment which enhances the student's self-esteem and supports their cultural interests.
