When Northern Kentucky University opened in 1968, the school enrolled nearly 1,400 students. Today, NKU boasts more than 14,000. A lot has changed over the last 36 years. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is the university's dedication to academic excellence. As a result, NKU's student body is today more diverse, and well-prepared to meet the challenges it will face after graduation than at any time over the last 36 years. NKU has set the standard in learner-centered education, and as a result Northern students achieve academic excellence by continually outscoring their peers on the LSAT (and the bar exam, for that matter), the MCAT, the GMAT, the PRAXIS, the GRE and many of life's other little tests.
Northern Kentucky University's growth over the last 36 years could be measured in terms of buildings or academic programs, but its academic excellence will always be measured in the outstanding achievements of its more than 14,000 students. Some things will never change.
These are just a few of the ways Northern Kentucky University remains dedicated to academic excellence and to the needs of its Quality-Made Students. To find out about others visit any of the related links.
