Northern Kentucky University's record of academic excellence is well-documented, but a lot of people don't realize that while NKU students are recognized for their hard work, they play just as hard.

With more than 100 student organizations ranging from fraternities and sororities to award-winning student media, getting involved in campus life has never been easier.

In fact, NKU's First-Year Programs - with theme-based learning communities, a nationally-recognized Book Connection program and popular University 101 classes,  makes getting involved nearly inevitable. Whether it's through one of these organizations or as a member of the Norse Force cheering on NKU's many dominant athletics programs, more and more NKU students are showing that they are eager to play nearly as hard as they are willing to work.
