social work

Social Work has never been in greater demand than it is today.  Employment of social workers is expected to increase much faster than all other occupations through 2016 (BLS, 2008).  There are a wide variety of jobs for social workers, such as school social work, hospitals, aging, child welfare, mental health, substance abuse, and family services.  A career in social work is one with great job mobility and opportunities.  A Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) prepares graduates for licensure and a Master of Social degree (MSW), increasing employment and salary opportunities.
