With this major, you'll learn how to tell stories on the web and engage readers through story, design, animation and even virtual environments. Internship opportunities are available through organizations such as CinciMedia, the Center for Applied Informatics and Gannett.
About the College of Informatics
In the College of Informatics' new home, Griffin Hall, you'll be at the center of the Information Revolution. The common thread of informatics is information - its acquisition, collection, analysis, manipulation, application, packaging, presentation and marketing. Programs of study include everything from protecting businesses from computer hackers to producing advanced digital newscasts.
