Internship Experience
Marcus McGhee ’10
“Internships, second only to the professors, are the best thing that you can experience while at NKU. They allow you to take what you have learned in the classroom and see whether or not it is applicable in the real world. There is no better way to learn than having to go to class and learn about a topic, then having to go to an internship and experience your lesson first hand. Furthermore, you get to begin networking with the leaders in your field. The connections you make during an internship can, like mine, parlay into a permanent position. The experience is one that will always be a highlight of my college career, and I would recommend it to everyone.”
