Chemistry (BS)

Students interested in careers as professional chemists should seek the Bachelor of Science degree offered at NKU. Students complete the core courses in chemistry plus one of these three tracks:

ACS Certified Track -- Offers students a rigorous background in chemistry that will prepare them for careers in industrial chemistry and for graduate work in chemistry.

Biochemistry Track -- Designed for students who are interested in both chemistry and biology. In particular, it is designed for those students who are interested in the chemistry of living organisms.

Forensics Track -- Designed for students who wish to pursue a career in forensic science with a solid background in chemistry while gaining the basic knowledge needed to succeed in the criminal justice system.
