Our Bachelor of Arts degree is designed for students interested in teaching chemistry at the high school level or for those students who want to graduate with two majors. If they have just one major, students completing this Bachelor of Arts degree are required to complete a minor or an area of concentration.
The student-to-faculty ratio in our department is typically 30 or less in the classroom and 20 or less in the laboratory. All lectures and laboratories are held in smart classrooms where audiovisual presentations and demonstrations are used as teaching tools.
Dedicated faculty members are one reason our department is thriving. In addition to teaching a wide range of programs, they give students an opportunity to participate in undergraduate research projects.
