Business Informatics will teach you how to integrate technology into business operations, and you can tailor your experience to focus on areas that interest you, such as e-commerce or systems analysis. These skills will prepare you for a career in a private or non-profit organization, a government agency or an educational institution. Plus, a variety of internships with major businesses in the area are available to give you professional experience.
About the College of Informatics
In the College of Informatics' new home, Griffin Hall, you'll be at the center of the Information Revolution. The common thread of informatics is information - its acquisition, collection, analysis, manipulation, application, packaging, presentation and marketing. Programs of study include everything from protecting businesses from computer hackers to producing advanced digital newscasts.
