Archaeologist to speak about ancient Mayan culture on Oct. 23
Archaeologist Scott Hutson from the University of Kentucky will give a talk entitled, "Regional Integration and
Embodied Experience among the Ancient Maya," on Wednesday, October 23 at 2 p.m. in Landrum 110.
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be hosted by the Student Anthropology Society, an
organization that's open to any NKU student with an interest in anthropology.
Earlier this month, the Sociology, Anthropology and Philosophy Department hosted a lecture on surveillance
by Mike Nellis that was the best attended event in the history of Griffin Hall, according to chair Sharyn Jones.
