Balsawood Bridge Competition returning to campus on March 11
Local high school students will test their construction skills during the Balsawood Bridge Competiton sponsored
by the NKU Construction Management Department on Monday, March 11.
Students design and construct their bridges using balsawood materials and design specifications provided by the
Construction Management Department. The bridges are then tested to see which one supports the most weight.
The bridges will be tested in the College of Business building construction labs (BC 134 and BC 119) from 9 a.m.
to noon on March 11. There wil be an awards ceremony at 12:30 p.m. in room 200 of the Mathematics, Education
and Psychology building.
