Dr. Brett Zyromski, director of the Master of Arts in School Counseling program at NKU,
has been invited to speak at international events in Italy and Turkey during the first two
weeks of September.
At the International Symposium on School Counseling in Verona, Italy, Dr. Zyromski will
talk about the use of evidence-based interventions within a comprehensive school
counseling program. He will also be consulting and training with school counselor educators
from across Italy and working with schools there.
Dr. Zyromski will then travel to Istanbul, Turkey to attend the International Association for
Counseling Conference. There he will lead a session titled “Evaluating Developmental School
Counseling Interventions: Using Logic Models And Theories Of Action To Guide Evaluation
“I am thrilled at the opportunity to support the expansion of evidence-based, data-driven
comprehensive school counseling into Italy and at the International Association for
Counselling,” he said.
Dr. Zyromski is co-founder and co-chair of the national Evidence-Based School Counseling Conference. He has published more than
a dozen articles related to school counseling issues and has delivered over 30 national, regional and local presentations. He's also on
the advisory council for the Northern Kentucky Center for Educator Excellence.
