Master of Social Work students sponsor Photovoice exhibit on April 18
Students in the NKU Master of Social Work program used a research method known as Photovoice to help at-risk high school students express the reality of their lives.
The high school students were asked to take photographs that answered these two questions:
- What are your barriers to graduation?
- What are your resources?
Photos and descriptive captions written by the high school students will be on display Thursday, April 18 in UC Ballroom 375.
The themes expressed in the Photovoice exhibit reflect the issues being researched by the Master of Social Work students. They invite the campus community to SEE the photos, LISTEN to the stories, and KNOW the issues.
