Celebration 2013: NKU Student Research and Creative Projects
Scholarly and creative work produced by students at Northern Kentucky University will be showcased at the 11th annual Celebration of Student Research and Creativity from April 15-19.
Students will highlight their research, artistic and creative projects through over 200 poster presentations, oral presentations, interactive demonstrations, performances, or exhibits in a variety of campus locations.
Students worked closely with faculty producing research that often leads to publications and presentations at state, national and international professional meetings. Other students have worked with faculty on creative projects in the arts including music, dance, theatre, and art. These projects are often critically acclaimed and shown in the broader community.
“Celebration provides important recognition and acknowledgement of the excellent work and accomplishments of our students,” said Stephen Walker, co-chair of the coordinating committee.
The event is sponsored by the Office of the Graduate Dean and Associate Provost for Research, Northern Kentucky Research Foundation, College of Arts & Sciences, Haile/US Bank College of Business, College of Education and Human Services, College of Informatics, College of Health Professions, and the Honors Program.
