Northern Kentucky University has several campuses located throughout the region including Campbell, Kenton, Boone and Grant counties. Besides its vibrant and growing main campus in Campbell county, there are smaller campuses in Kenton and Grant counties that offer classes as well. Northern also operates the METS center near the Greater Cincinnati airport in Boone county, which offers high-tech education and training for the metropolitan area.

The Covington Campus of Northern Kentucky University is located off
Dixie Highway in Covington, Kentucky, four miles south of Cincinnati,
Ohio. This campus is easily accessible from Interstate 75 and 275.
The Covington Campus consists of two permanent facilities and provides
a convenient location for students of all ages to complete a variety
of general education courses. The campus also hosts PACE (The Program
for Adult-Centered Education), the Emergency Medical Technology (EMT)
program, and many community courses of interest to the general public.
Northern Kentucky University is easy to find – our name says it all. We're a growing campus nestled in the hills of a safe and quiet suburb of Highland Heights with all the attributes of a larger college town. The campus is located along US 27 and is accessible from four major highways. It is just 20 minutes away from the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati Airport. We're located seven miles south of downtown Cincinnati and less than two hours away from Lexington and Louisville. Northern's location places it in the largest metropolitan area of all the state universities in Kentucky. NKU is an accredited four year public university and offers a variety of Certificates, Associate, Bachelor and Graduate degrees.
The NKU Grant County Center is a special partnership between the
Grant County Foundation for Higher Educations and Northern Kentucky
University. It houses NKU educational programs and the NKU Office for
Economic Initiatives Innovation Center. The Grant County Center offers
expanded course offerings, on-site academic advising, pre-enrollment
counseling and expanded student services. Students can take courses
at the center to complete general education requirements then continue
coursework at the main campus. Students can also progress toward an
Associate Degree in Liberal Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational
Leadership or a Certificate in Leadership Development.
