Parents
The years your student spends at Northern Kentucky University will likely be the most rewarding years of his or her life. As parents, you will share with your student achievements and challenges that come with this experience.
You'll also need some support during your student's college years and that is why the Office of New Student Orientation and Parent Programs office was created.
This website is just for you as an NKU parent! Use the resources in the left hand navigation as a guide to advise your student(s), stay connected with NKU, and learn about events and services available to you and your student. If you can't find what you are looking for, search the A-Z index or ask a question to parents@nku.edu.
NKU offers a FREE Parents Association as well as resources and events for parents and families to stay connected and informed.
It is the mission of NKU's Parents Association to:
- Empower parents/parental figures to play a supportive role in the student's education and development.
- Provide a link between NKU students, parents and the university community.
- Encourage active participation in partnering with the university's mission and values.
Parents of incoming NKU students can also learn more about the admission process, orientation and more!
