2003-2004 served as the inaugural season of the Director's Cup. The Director's Cup is designed to increase participation, reward sportsmanship, and recognize a campus intramural champion. Each team will be awarded points based on the system described in the Intramural Sports Handbook. At the end of the year, each team's points are added up.

The Northern Kentucky University (NKU) Department of Campus Recreation is committed to providing diverse, fun and competitive intramural sports activities to serve the recreational needs of the NKU students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Intramural sports range from the more traditional sports, such as basketball, flag football, softball, and soccer to the non-traditional sports such as, dodgeball, bowling, texas hold 'em, and sand volleyball. This program offers something for everyone!
