Faculty Resources

The Northern Kentucky University Book Connection Program seeks to build a sense of community among first-year students and to welcome them to the academic life of the university by engaging them in a campus-wide discussion of a book of current interest chosen by a committee of faculty and staff. All incoming first-year studentsare provided with a free copy of this book to read the book over the summer. First-year faculty are encouraged to feature the book in their courses. The capstone event of each year's Book Connection Program is an appearance by the author of the book soon after the beginning of school.
