  • Interactive Mathematics Dictionary: This dictionary is designed by mathematics educators at the University of Georgia as part of the InterMath website for middle school students, teachers, parents, and others interested in topics in the middle school matheamtics curriculum.   • First LEGO League (FLL) Jr. Robotics Competition (ages 9 - 14): This website inspires children around the world to work together.  There are two main parts to the website.  One is robot games that include mission and scoring, rules, and field set-up.  The other part is research assignments and resource links. http://www.firstlegoleague.org/

  • Geometry Center (high school): The Geometry Center is a mathematics research and education center at the University of Minnesota.       At the International Conference EARCOME 3 there will be a special "Symposium on Creativity in Mathematics Education" (Chairs: Hartwig Meissner (Germany), Linda Sheffield (USA) and Tomoko Yanagimoto (Japan), Local Chair WANG Shangzhi (China)).   • National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) 52nd Annual Convention
    (November 9 - 13, 2005 in Louisville, Kentucky USA)
    The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC, United States) will feature a special strand on "Advanced Math and Science" at their annual convention this year. Mathematics and science educators from around the world with expertise in serving students who are mathematically gifted, talented and creative are invited to submit proposals to present in this strand.
