We realize that as a prospective law student you have unique needs, concerns and schedules. We have tailored the following events to ensure you will receive the information you need at a time convenient for you.
Admission Information Sessions
These sessions are designed to provide answers to those who are thinking about attending law school. Topics covered are the LSAT, the application process, the timeline for applying to law school and questions about what it is like to be a law student. A tour of the College of Law with a current law student or Director of Admissions is included. All sessions will start at approximately 5:30pm and last an hour and a half.
Information sessions will be held at the College of Law during the following times:
- Wednesday, September 3, 2008
- Monday, October 13, 2008
- Thursday, November 6, 2008
- Tuesday, December 9, 2008

Part-time, Evening Student Panel Presentation
Have you thought about attending law school but need the option to continue working in your current career? This program is designed to answer questions about attending law school part-time. The panel will consist of a member of the law faculty who teaches in the part-time division, current part-time student and recent graduates of the part-time division. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.
The Part-time, Evening Student Panel Presentation is Tuesday, October 7, 2008 @ 5:30pm and will last approximately 1 hour.
Optional: Following the Panel Presentation, the Director of Admissions will discuss the process of applying to law school. This follow-up will last about 45 minutes.

Open Houses
The College of Law will host a Fall and Spring Open House. Open houses are a great way to learn more about the community here at NKU Chase. You will have an opportunity to speak to representatives from admissions, career development, financial aid, and student organizations. In addition, you will get to meet with faculty and current students. Lunch will be provided.
- Fall Open House will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 10a – 2p
- Spring Open House will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 10a – 2p

Diversity Day
This program is designed for prospective students who have diverse backgrounds/experiences and are interested in the legal profession. Attendees will hear from a diverse law student panel, learn about career opportunities, hear from legal professionals that have a commitment to diversity in the profession and meet with faculty and current students. Lunch will be provided.
Diversity Day will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 from 10am - 2pm.

Group Visits
Does your pre-law organization or class want to visit the College of Law as a group? If so, we are happy to schedule a group visit at a time that is convenient for your organization. These visits can include presentations from admissions, career services, and current students as well as a mock class. Please email ChaseAdmissions@nku.edu to schedule a visit.
Private Visits
We understand that sometimes your schedule does not permit attendance at an event listed above. If this is the case, we invite you to visit the school on any day that works for your schedule. To request a private visit, complete the Private Visit registration form. We will find an appointment that is convenient for you and your needs.
