NKU SET FOR GLVC CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University cross country teams will participate at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships this Saturday at Indianapolis, Ind.

The NKU men’s team enters the GLVC Championships with a record of 45-28 after competing at the Queen City Invitational last Friday. The Norse’s Ryan Carskadon posted a 37th-place finish at that event with a time of 27:07 to lead NKU.

The NKU women’s team is 48-31 after posting an eighth-place finish at the Queen City Invitational. NKU runner Tabatha Smith finished 23rd in the event with a time of 20:08.

A year ago at the GLVC Championships, the NKU women posted a sixth-place finish. The Norse men finished ninth at the GLVC Championships.
