NKU CROSS COUNTRY ADDS TWO RECRUITS

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University cross country head coach Steve Kruse has added a pair of recruits for the 2004 season in transfer Rachel Stoehr and freshman Brad Bullock.

Stoehr is a transfer from Valparaiso University, where she lettered in cross country and track. A native of Antigo, Wis., Stoehr’s top time in the five-kilometer run while at Valparaiso was 18:45.

A 2000 graduate of Antigo High School, Stoehr earned All-Wisconsin Valley Conference honors and All-State accolades in cross country for the Red Robins. She also lettered in basketball and track for Antigo.

Bullock is a 2004 graduate of Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he earned letters in cross country and track as a prep athlete. Bullock was named first team All-Fort Ancient Valley Conference in cross country as a junior and senior.

He also was a two-time regional qualifier and was the FAVC’s 800-meter champion in 2004. Bullock was the most valuable runner for Winton Woods four times in his career.
